Bearing in mind that all three cities – Angulema, Bilbao, and Quebec – have a river flowing through them - the Charente, the Nervion, and the San Lorenzo, respectively - that has a major influence on each city’s identity the theme of the residence will be the river.
In this project, the comic book is considered to be the guiding thread in the search for the meaning of water within the territory, in human relationships, in our heritage or our history, in contemporary terms. This theme will form the basis of the creative process for the selected residents, which could lead to the production or presentation of creations in a format to be determined.
